Key Responsibilities
- Function as the primary point of contact for select clients, presenting technical solutions, maintaining client relationships, and driving new business development from existing clients.
- Lead the design team and approval process to secure all regulatory approvals and permits.
- Participate in the financial success of all projects.
- Adhere to the Firm's Quality Assurance and Quality Control policy and procedures on all projects.
- Mentor and develop junior staff.
- Attend weekly work-load staff meeting to share work and ensure staff meets utilization goals.
- Continuously enhance the site civil practice by staying informed on industry trends, advancements, and best practices, while actively participating in industry networking events and organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the consulting industry working on projects for Economic Developers, Government/Municipal Agencies, Regional & National Retailers and Private Developers on Civil infrastructure and Site Plan projects.
- Extensive experience with civil/site design, permitting and management of private commercial developments, public County, City & Town roadways, water and sewer improvements projects.
- Professional Engineer License.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and Teamwork skills.
- Public Presentation experience.
- Experience with obtaining Entitlements including Federal, State and Local regulatory approvals and permits.
- Expertise in State and Local site design standards and regulations.
- Thrives working in a fast paced Team environment.
- Excellent track record of financial success delivering projects on time and under budget.
- Experience with writing proposals.
- Proficient in Civil 3D, HydroCAD, Revit, WaterCadd, excel and Microsoft word.
