Key Responsibilities
- Cover day-to-day activities for multiple environmental projects under the FDEP Waste Cleanup Contract.
- Support project managers with scheduling, task tracking, resource allocation, and milestone reporting.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including work plans, proposals, reports, invoices, and deliverables in accordance with FDEP guidelines.
- Track project budgets, monitor costs, and assist with financial forecasting and reporting.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and FDEP representatives to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.
- Maintain project records, regulatory documentation, and data management systems.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and Terracon’s quality and safety procedures.
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination, including scheduling field activities and deliverables.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies in project coordination and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in environmental project management, preferably within the FDEP Waste Cleanup Contract scope.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
- Experience with project documentation and compliance.
