About the role
Arcadis' New York office is seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to join our dynamic Workplace team, contributing to a range of high-profile projects. In this role, you’ll oversee the architectural design and technical development, ensuring that our workplace solutions meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development and delivery of workplace-specific architecture and interiors projects.
- Serve as the licensed professional responsible for signing and sealing drawings, as required.
- Provide technical leadership in:
- Code compliance
- ADA / accessibility requirements
- Permitting and filing processes
- Construction documentation and detailing
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, consultants, and clients to ensure technical quality and design intent are maintained.
- Oversee production of drawing sets and support quality assurance / quality control reviews.
- Mentor junior staff and support best practices in technical execution.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience, with a proven track record in interior architecture, workplace design, and project delivery
- Professional degree in Architecture and an active architectural license
- Strong workplace project experience, including tenant interiors and commercial office environments
- Proficiency in Revit and strong technical documentation skills
- Deep understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, permitting, and filing processes
- Experience with consultant coordination and construction administration is preferred
- Ability to balance technical rigor with project delivery timelines

Pay
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $158,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
