Senior Project Architect (Commercial)

We are looking for a hands-on Commercial Senior Interior Designer to join a smaller firm where you can directly shape every phase of the interior design process.

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to influence projects from space planning and interior architecture to finish selection, furniture specification, custom millwork and cabinetry design, and the production of detailed construction documents in REVIT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute overall design for client projects.
• Research and select fixtures, furniture, and finishes for client projects.
• Manage complete interior work project budgets per project.
• Generate design and construction models and documentation utilizing Revit.
• Communicate effectively through verbal, written, and visual presentations.
• Balance multiple projects and meet deadlines with flexibility for moderate travel.

Requirements

• Accredited Professional degree in Interior Design (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• 10+ years of professional experience in commercial interior design, with preference for corporate, financial, and retail sectors.
• Advanced Revit experience and proficiency required; CET Commercial Interiors experience a plus.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and ADA building codes.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
