Senior Project Architect

Responsibilities

• Research project locations, demographics, brand vision, architecture trends, and target market to determine guest experience and architectural intent
• Coordinate with operations, design, and marketing teams to understand project goals and requirements
• Build and own the master project schedule to track project durations and schedule and drive completion
• Lead, collaborate, and coordinate with architects, engineers, interior designers, lighting designers, and other consultants as required
• Ensure all zoning laws, building codes, sustainability, fire and safety, and accessibility codes are met
• Work with general contractors to manage sub contractors and vendor relationships, cost, lead time, and delivery dates to site
• Manage, review, and respond to all submittals and RFIs in a timely manner to issue to general contractors
• Oversee architectural and design mockups and sample reviews as required
• Visit job sites to ensure project coordination, design intent, codes, and standards are being followed
• Collaborate with general contractors to resolve design or construction issues
• Provide cost estimates throughout all phases of projects
• Provide complete architectural specifications with revisions as required
• Attend punch walks with general contractors and design team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, or related field required
• 5-8 years of experience specifically in hospitality/restaurant environment a plus
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Superior financial acumen for budgeting and coordination
• Strong leadership, multitasking, and organizational skills for decision making
• Understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, fire safety regulations, construction processes, and sustainable design practices
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, BIM, and Adobe Creative Suite
