Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration.
- Lead project teams in developing architectural design solutions aligned with client needs, budget, schedule, and project vision.
- Cookordination and management of project documentation including drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables in accordance with industry standards.
- Cookordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
- Oversee preparation and coordination of construction documents and technical drawings.
- Lead and participate in client meetings, consultant meetings, and project coordination discussions.
- Provide technical guidance on material selection, design development, and constructability considerations.
- Oversee quality control and quality assurance processes for design and documentation.
- Manage documentation schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
- Direct and mentor architectural staff and coordinate consultant contributions.
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activities.
- Support proposal development, business development efforts, and client presentations.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of record documents at project completion.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture required.
- Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience required.
- Professional Architect license required.
- Strong experience in project leadership and supervisory roles required.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit required.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction documentation, and architectural standards required.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
- Experience in construction administration including RFIs and shop drawing review preferred.
