Job Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Lead project teams in developing architectural design solutions aligned with client needs, budget, schedule, and project vision.
  • Cookordination and management of project documentation including drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables in accordance with industry standards.
  • Cookordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
  • Oversee preparation and coordination of construction documents and technical drawings.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings, consultant meetings, and project coordination discussions.
  • Provide technical guidance on material selection, design development, and constructability considerations.
  • Oversee quality control and quality assurance processes for design and documentation.
  • Manage documentation schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
  • Direct and mentor architectural staff and coordinate consultant contributions.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activities.
  • Support proposal development, business development efforts, and client presentations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of record documents at project completion.

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience required.
  • Professional Architect license required.
  • Strong experience in project leadership and supervisory roles required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit required.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction documentation, and architectural standards required.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams required.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills required.
  • Experience in construction administration including RFIs and shop drawing review preferred.
