Senior Project Architect
About the role
The Senior Project Architect is responsible for producing high quality construction documents per PBK standards. The Sr. Project Architect will participate in all phases of the project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely projects completion within budget constraints in accordance PBK’s quality and client service standards.
- Serve as Senior Project Architect in developing project documents for bidding and construction.
- Provide input to the design and construction schedule - communicate the technical implications of design decisions.
- Organize and direct the architectural and/or engineering team to execute the work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
- Support the Project Manager for any tasks required for the successful completion of the project.
- Prepare project construction documents.
- Communicate with and coordinate the preparation of documents with consultants, contractors, team members.
- Review shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance.
- Document code review and compliance.
- Communicate and coordinate with management, clients, consultants and contractors related to daily business operations.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Architect.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture is required.
- Architecture License is required.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in using Revit.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
Qualifications
Must have 5 + years of professional experience preferred.

Benefits
The actual offered base salary for California locations will vary depending on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, work location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role will be at or near the top half of the range provided, but the decision will be dependent on the factors of each individual case. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation in the form of discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
Pay
The salary range for this position is below. $110,930.00 - $166,395.00
