Senior Project Architect

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution
• 15 or more years of professional experience and licensed architect

Licensed Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Cook up directly with project manager and project designer to supervise the team’s design and technical delivery.
• Cook up projects and consultant teams.
• Assess professional development needs and provide mentoring within teams.
• Primary point of contact for engineering and technical design consultants during design phases.
• Lead consultant coordination meetings, direct design integration efforts, and ensure consultant deliverables align with design intent, codes, and project standards.
• Cook up phased quality assurance and constructability reviews.
• Write and coordinate technical sections of project specifications.
• Cook up front-end specifications.
• Apply working knowledge of building and zoning codes, resolving design issues and leading responses to officials.
• Apply knowledge of construction administration issuance types (Addendum, PD, PR, ASI, RFI) and their applications.
• Strong working knowledge of design delivery tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
• Aid in research and selection of materials.
• Lead construction administration and post-occupancy review process independently.
• Understand various construction delivery methods (CMaR, CMA, GC) and coordinate deliverables accordingly.

Pay

Alliiance provides competitive compensation based on professional experience and includes profit-sharing/retirement, FY and calendar year bonuses, health and dental insurance, flex benefits, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, paid time off, paid holidays, mentorship, opportunities for professional development and continuing education. Base salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 annual.
