Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategy Translation & Focus Definition with the Portfolio

    • Partner with ET Strategy and CIO leadership to translate enterprise strategy into clear technology priorities and focus areas
    • Support strategic planning cadences (annual planning, quarterly reviews, KPI tracking) integrating and aligning with existing enterprise processes and maturing ET’s partnership in those processes
    • Help define how strategic priorities are operationalized within ET and partner with ECPMOP
    • Contribute to shaping and maturing the Office of the CIO (oCIO) function and planning model for future state definition and/or business case
  • Portfolio Alignment & Prioritization

    • Connect initiatives, roadmaps, and workstreams to defined strategic priorities
    • Enable ET prioritization across competing initiatives based on value, urgency, and strategic alignment partnered closely with ECPMO
    • Partner with ECPMO to differentiate and balance run / grow / transform work
    • Partner with ECPMO to identify overlaps, redundancies, and sequencing dependencies
  • Capacity Planning & Tradeoff Enablement

    • Enable ET resource managers to consistently adopt and regularly maintain capacity planning and forecasting routines and processes
    • Work with ETSMG to define a %/# of hours that ET teams will set aside for ET-driven initiatives, and determine impact to market-facing commitments
    • Work with ET leaders and ECPMO to develop integrated views of portfolio demand vs. workforce capacity (by skill, role, timing)
    • Identify capacity constraints, skill gaps, and overcommitment risks
    • Model scenarios to evaluate tradeoffs between priorities, capacity, and investment and align with ET leadership/finance areas to make explicit tradeoff decisions
    • Partner with HR/TA to define plans to address gaps (hiring, redeployment, sourcing)
  • Governance and Decision Enablement

    • Support and enhance planning and governance forums (strategy, portfolio, capacity)
    • Provide leadership with clear, decision-ready insights and clear accountability
    • Improve transparency across teams, shared services, and dependencies
    • Begin establishing stronger mechanisms to track delivery and strategic outcomes/value including identifying bottlenecks impacting execution or value realization

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in program management, portfolio management, or strategy execution within Technology with preference for those working in or alongside senior leadership teams

  • Demonstrated experience connecting strategy, portfolio, execution, capacity planning

  • Focused on value delivery and decision enablement, not reporting

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive prioritization decisions

  • Strategic integrator and relationship builder who connects priorities to execution realities

  • Strong understanding of technology delivery models (Agile/product-based)
