Senior Program Manager, Rental Strategy, Middle Mile Fleet

Key job responsibilities

  • Own variable fleet strategy for North America Middle Mile power units, including operation plan, budget, rental vehicle specification, rental process, contracts, procurement, delivery and disposition
  • Negotiate and manage third-party rental partnerships to secure adequate capacity during peak and year-round operations
  • Own financial analysis and budget tracking for variable fleet programs, making data-driven decisions to optimize costs
  • Develop strategies to improve fleet utilization, increase acceptance rates with programs, and balance supply constraints with operational demands
  • Serve as escalation point for rental vehicles, demonstrating strong communication skills and knowing when to escalate appropriately
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast capacity needs and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence
  • Serve as the Single Threaded Leader for all power unit safety incidents and establish standard work for future

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience communicating with VP-level decision makers; experience communicating expectations and requirements with business and technology teams through written proposals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-level negotiations, strategic partnerships, and contract management
  • Experience in Automotive or Fleet Management Leadership roles
  • Ability to independently establish OEM relationships and gather benchmarking data to make data-driven product decisions
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and overcome challenges with a high degree of flexibility and professionalism
  • Proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain strong performance in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
