Senior Program Manager, Rental Strategy, Middle Mile Fleet

Global Fleet and Products (GFP) Middle Mile Fleet team is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead fleet strategy and execution. Key job responsibilities
- Execute on large, complex projects by breaking them down into manageable parts, developing functional specifications, and delivering them successfully and promptly
- Own variable fleet strategy for North America Middle Mile power units, including operation plan, budget, rental vehicle specification, rental process, contracts, procurement, delivery, and disposition
- Negotiate and manage third-party rental partnerships to ensure adequate capacity during peak and year-round operations
- Lead financial analysis and budget tracking for variable fleet programs, making data-driven decisions to minimize costs
- Develop strategies to enhance fleet utilization, boost acceptance rates, and balance supply constraints with operational demands
- Serve as the escalation point for rental vehicles, demonstrating strong communication and escalation skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast capacity needs and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence
- Oversee safety incidents for power units, establishing standard work processes

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience communicating with VP-level decision makers and business and technology teams through written proposals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-level negotiations, strategic partnerships, and contract management
- Experience in Automotive or Fleet Management Leadership roles
- Ability to establish OEM relationships and gather benchmarking data for product decisions
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and overcome challenges with flexibility and professionalism
- Proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform well in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
