About the role

Serving as Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a specific project or program, including leading the client relationship to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Interacts regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved.
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct variances.
  • Key focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of advanced contracting methods, including IPD and CPD.
  • Responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant contract procurement, contract negotiation, contract execution, contract administration, and closeout.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks for client and company.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete deliverables to the client and company.
  • Ensures proper utilization of in-house project management tools for execution of services.
  • Provide input on the development of standards across all projects.
  • Collaborates with internal subject matter expert in the implementation of dashboard reporting tools.
  • Lead by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Requirements

  • Candidates required to reside in the Midwest.
  • Required experience directly managing leading project delivery resources/team.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project/program outlines, including scope, deliverables, goals, and timelines.
  • Collaborates with internal subject matter expert in creating complete project budgets.
  • Oversee project cost control efforts, quality control, site management, and the preparation of timely and accurate monthly cost control budget reports and invoicing.
  • Provide coordination and leadership for cross-functional project teams to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Identify, document, and mitigate key risks, issues, and dependencies across projects or program.
  • Recommend actions to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Provide monitoring and support on program status, key performance indicators, and other qualitative/quantitative metrics to key stakeholders and leaders across multiple segments.
  • Conduct regular program reviews with key stakeholders and leadership to keep team apprised of progress, next steps, and key risks identified.
  • Participate in and provide input into the marketing and business development of the company’s program management services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive healthcare project management experience, with a precedent of building strong cross-functional relationships to ensure that all client stakeholders are appropriately engaged and satisfied.

Skills

  • Excellent project budgeting, contract negotiations, and scheduling skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities to internal direct reports and external partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts, including a thorough understanding of contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze data for the client and team to achieve project goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive-level external and internal healthcare clients.
  • Strong ability to multitask, work independently, and manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and possesses a proactive attitude.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office programs, including (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams), eBuilder, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet experience is preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The position requires a combination of remote work and occasional travel to client sites, with an average travel rate of 25-75% of the time commitment required to complete many of the functions of the position.
