Senior Program Manager, Global Entity Expansion and Restructure
About the role
The Global Entity Expansion and Restructure team is the centralized accounting function responsible for program management of legal entity formation, restructure, and closure. The team establishes processes and standards to support diligence, document preparation, and leadership approval for these corporate projects. Program managers collaborate with global stakeholders—including Business teams, Tax, Legal, FinOps, Treasury, HR, and Accounting—to ensure controllership, consistency, and visibility of critical corporate initiatives.
In this role, you will act as an advisor to business teams and own the transaction approval workflow for director review. You will support global entity formation and restructure projects across diverse business teams, working with cross-department leaders and functional accounting teams to ensure seamless execution from proposal to financial system setup.

Responsibilities
- Work independently to lead projects supporting Amazon’s corporate structure, ensuring business support and controllership.
- Deliver complex cross-functional projects while prioritizing work for global project teams and monitoring transactions to maintain standards.
- Identify and communicate project risks to senior leadership, providing clear recommendations for resolution or mitigation.
- Manage risks across disparate business functions, driving mitigation and resolution.
- Build relationships across multiple Amazon teams to foster collaboration and productivity.
- Work cross-functionally on global business launches, influencing strategy and communicating with senior leadership within and outside of accounting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification.
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency.
- Experience with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification.
- Accounting management experience in Big Four firms with Fortune 500 clients.
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.
Skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify, and communicate risks to senior leadership.
- Strong project management skills with experience in financial processes, process design, and accounting conclusion documentation.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity in a fast-paced environment.

- USA, CA, Culver City: $95,400.00 – $163,200.00 USD annually

- USA, OR, Portland: $95,400.00 – $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, TN, Nashville: $85,900.00 – $146,900.00 USD annually
