Senior Program Manager

About the role

The Ultra Project and Program function is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programs. The function controls program costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects and programs as a group to achieve strategic goals and objectives
• Accountable for the cumulative performance (to time, quality, cost and/or as-bid Gross Margin) of the projects and of the individuals performing the management of each project
• Apply technical/professional knowledge, making independent judgements based on practice and significant previous experience to support decision making
• Act independently with minimal guidance
• Act as project manager/formal mentor for junior staff
• Serve as a referral point or more senior team member to escalate more complex problems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Program Management experience
• Minimum Secret Security Clearance is required
