Senior Program Manager

About the role

The Senior Manager, Managed Programs leads cross-functional programs and manages a team of program and project managers to deliver business-critical initiatives. This full-time role, based in the United States, drives alignment across teams, ensures execution against strategic priorities, and scales program delivery practices through operational excellence and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and delivery of high-impact programs spanning multiple teams or departments.
• Lead a team of program and project managers, overseeing career growth, execution quality, and professional development.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define program goals, timelines, success metrics, and dependencies.
• Ensure consistency in program execution by implementing and reinforcing standardized tools and processes.
• Track and report on program performance, resource usage, risks, and milestones.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements across the program portfolio.
• Serve as an escalation point for program-level issues and cross-functional blockers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in program or project management.
• 3+ years of experience in people management or leading large-scale initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in program management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or MS Project.

Preferred Skills

• PMP, Agile, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience in SaaS, technology, or enterprise project delivery.
