About the role
The Senior Program Manager at STAHL USA is responsible for leading and managing complex projects within the government technology sector. This role requires a deep understanding of government policies and a strategic approach to project management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and successful completion of government technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including government agencies, small businesses, and startups to align project objectives with government needs.
- Advocate for policies that enhance the accessibility of the government market to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as necessary to mitigate risks and achieve project milestones.
- Represent STAHL USA and BiC-1 at industry events and meetings to build relationships and promote the company’s services and capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in the government technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with government agencies, small businesses, and startups.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Understanding of the commercial technology ecosystem and its impact on government operations.
- Experience working with small businesses and startups to develop and implement technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
