About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and coordinate high-visibility initiatives within a financial services environment. This individual will serve as a strategic liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams, ensuring successful program delivery through effective planning, communication, governance, and execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial industry experience, exceptional executive presence, and outstanding communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex programs and drive alignment across multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide programs and strategic initiatives from inception through delivery.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
- Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, status reports, and steering committee materials.
- Facilitate executive-level communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct regular program status meetings and governance reviews.
- Track program risks, issues, decisions, and action items, driving mitigation efforts when necessary.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Technology, Operations, Compliance, Finance, Risk, and Business Units.
- Manage competing priorities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Establish program management best practices and reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance program delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of Program Management experience.
- 3+ years of experience within the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, or Capital Markets industry.
- Strong experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience creating executive communications and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
- Experience developing and managing program roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience facilitating status meetings and executive steering committees.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certification.
- Experience supporting regulatory, risk, compliance, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with project portfolio management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or Planview.
