Senior Program Manager

About the role

Odyssey Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to support a high‑priority acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC). The division provides life‑cycle management for information assurance and critical cyber systems, handling technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization to ensure warfighter access while denying adversary access. This full‑time position is located at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles, policies, and practices as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63‑101/20‑101.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
• Support activities that assess program schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions, and explore alternative courses of action.
• Communicate orally and in writing, producing high‑quality acquisition documentation such as briefings, plans, and reports.
• Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition across development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment, formulating plans to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Develop and support acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary, Monthly Acquisition Report).
• Support program management reviews, senior‑level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
• Create and deliver briefings and status schedules on program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience, with at least five years in the Department of Defense.
