About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager located in the Washington, D.C. area.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives.
- Define, organize, and direct short- and long-range program plans, including formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach, and defining and negotiating for necessary resources.
- Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs.
- Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
- Aid in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
- Cook up and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
- Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation.
- Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items.
- Aid in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations.
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required.
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience providing program management support to U.S. Navy program offices.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or financial related field from an institution accredited in the United States.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients.
