Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manages the interviewing and hiring process for their prospective residential houses.
  • Supervises, trains, mentors, and coaches House Managers on required responsibilities, including performance reviews.
  • Works with HR/Payroll to ensure employees' correct pay rate and hours.
  • Oversees the budgets for the individual residential houses.
  • Supervises the daily functions of the residential houses to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Makes recommendations for employee promotions or changes in status.
  • Enforces licensing requirements and ensures compliance in residential houses.
  • Handles and resolves disciplinary issues, employee write-ups, and complaints.
  • Ensures the Residential Director's directives are enforced and communicated.
  • Communicates and implements policies and procedures to staff.
  • Coordinates with staff to provide relevant information about residents.
  • Oversees LTSS billing and ensures service logs are completed and approved.
  • Conducts regular camera checks and site visits to assess staff performance and program implementation.
  • Makes recommendations to the Residential Director for staffing, equipment, and supplies.
  • Evaluates the adequacy of facilities and services provided to residents.
  • Provides 24-hour emergency coverage for residential houses.
  • Tracks and coordinates PCP meetings, licensing authorities, and other organizational matters.
  • May perform other duties as assigned, including serving as a House Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 21 years old.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
  • At least two years of residential supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of the CIMS Data Management System is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid MD driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable vehicle.
  • Passes the physical and academic portions of behavior support and intervention training.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

  • Regular exposure to weather conditions during travel to and from worksites and appointments.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers, handling objects, tools, and various forms of technology.
  • Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, running, or crawling.
  • Working under regular, moderate levels of stress.
  • Lifting and moving up to 10 lbs. regularly and occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
