Senior Program Manager

Location: Auburn, CA — hybrid role requiring frequent onsite presence at either the Auburn or Chico office.

About the role

The Senior Program Manager tackles moderate to complex problems, introduces fresh perspectives to existing solutions, and drives the overall program plan and goals. This position operates with a high degree of independence, oversees all deliverables within the program implementation plan, and communicates insights and recommendations to multiple levels of management. Responsibilities include developing budget forecasts, analyzing budget variances, creating ad-hoc reports, and providing strategic business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Solve moderate to complex problems and apply new perspectives to existing solutions, plans, and goals.
• Work independently on most issues and provide direction on the overall program plan and goals.
• Own most or all deliverables within the program implementation plan.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to various levels of management.
• Develop budget forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and propose corrective solutions.
• Create new and ad-hoc reports, summarize findings, and deliver actionable business insights.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Program Management.
• Proven ability to communicate findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of key business drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead or direct teams.
• Experience working within a Regulatory environment.
• Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects.
• Knowledge of energy industry applications at the local customer level, including energy efficiency and general customer information.
• Instrumentation experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including data management and graph creation.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Technical writing skills.

Pay

$90.00–$100.00 / hour (USD).

Schedule

Standard 5/8 schedule (Monday–Friday).
