Senior Program Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our growing Solid Rocket Motor Team. This is a full-time position operating on a 9/80 schedule. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing programs from initiation through completion, overseeing key activities such as resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and overall program performance.
Impact of the Role
The Senior Program Manager will have P&L responsibilities for specific program(s), participate in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance, liaise with functional departments throughout the organization, and track utilization to ensure milestones are completed on time or in accordance with established standards. They will evaluate program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics, ensuring activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations, and provide reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
Pay Range (USD)
$136,000-$184,000
PTO, Holiday, and Family Leave
Employees will receive 11 paid holidays and 120 hours of PTO annually and up to 3 weeks paid family leave.
