Responsibilities: The Senior Program Manager will provide acquisition and program management support to Government Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across the acquisition lifecycle. The position supports program execution activities involving cost, schedule, performance, risk management, acquisition documentation, milestone preparation, contractor coordination, and program reporting in support of Air Force acquisition programs. Duties include, but not limited to: Support Government Program Managers in executing acquisition programs in accordance with FAR, DoDI 5000.02, and applicable Air Force guidance and regulationsPlan, research, analyze, and assess acquisition projects to support cost, schedule, and performance objectivesProvide acquisition program management support to Program Managers and IPT Leads to maintain acquisition battle rhythm and deliver operational capabilitySupport development and review of acquisition documentation including Acquisition Strategies, APBs, LCSPs, Risk Management Plans, milestone briefings, and other program documentationAssist with preparation and review of acquisition reports including DAES, MARs, APBs, SARs, and other statutory and regulatory documentationSupport program risk management activities including risk identification, analysis, handling, monitoring, and execution of risk management boards and working groupsDevelop and support briefings, schedules, status reports, graphics, and acquisition documentation for senior leadershipSupport source selection activities including development of evaluation criteria, RFP documentation, CDRLs, SOWs, and source selection support documentationReview acquisition and program documentation to ensure consistency, completeness, and compliance with applicable guidanceSupport implementation and execution of acquisition and development processes in coordination with Government and contractor personnelAssist with program integration activities, contractor deliverable tracking, and schedule managementSupport preparation and submission of funding documentation including Purchase Requests, MIPRs, and related acquisition documentationMonitor and support interface control and coordination between program systems and stakeholdersProvide guidance on acquisition policies, procedures, and program management best practicesSupport operational planning, capability development, event integration, analysis, and reporting activitiesMaintain awareness of DoD acquisition reform initiatives and recommend process improvements where applicableOther duties as assigned Qualifications: Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearanceEducation: Bachelor's or master's DegreeYears of Experience: 8 years of directly related experience with 5 years in a DoD settingTechnical Skills Acquisition Program ManagementDoDI 5000 Series Acquisition ProcessesCost, Schedule, and Performance ManagementProgram Risk ManagementAcquisition Documentation Development and ReviewAcquisition Reporting (DAES, MARs, APBs, SARs)Source Selection SupportRFP, SOW, and CDRL DevelopmentProgram Integration and Contractor ManagementMicrosoft Office Suite Interpersonal Skills Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead multiple efforts simultaneouslyAbility to work independently with minimal oversightStrong mentoring and team development capabilities The expected annual salary range: $160K - $170K. Salary is dependent upon the role, associated responsibilities, candidate's experience and qualifications to include education/training and key skills. All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
