About the role
The Senior Program Manager will oversee and coordinate large-scale programs aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing program strategies that align with business goals
- Managing project portfolios and overseeing a team of project managers and support staff
- Promoting professional development through coaching, performance management, and training
- Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and delivering detailed reports
- Managing program budgets and ensuring financial accountability
- Performing cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment
- Ensuring program outputs meet quality standards
- Implementing continuous improvement practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a related industry
- Expertise in strategic planning and business analysis
- Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects or programs
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications preferred
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Basecamp)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes
- Expertise in industry-specific tools and technologies related to project and program management
- Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a related industry
- Skills: Expert knowledge of project and program management principles, methodologies, and tools; strategic planning and business analysis; proven track record of managing multiple large-scale projects or programs; PMP, PgMP, or similar certifications preferred; proficiency in project management software; strong understanding of financial reporting and budgeting processes; expertise in industry-specific tools and technologies related to project and program management; outstanding leadership and organizational abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
