Senior Program Director - Residential DDABI

About the role

We are looking for a proactive employee who will use their own experience and judgment to carry out the mission of the certified residential and Free-Standing Respite programs.

Reports to: Associate Director for DD/ABI Certified Residential Services

Location: Syracuse, NY

Responsibilities

• Assist the Associate Director with the oversight of the Certified Residential and Free-Standing Respite programs
• Monitor implementation of POCAs (Plans of Corrective Action) and implementation of monitoring systems to address deficiencies received from internal and external audits
• Monitor the provision of services for participants.
• Manage program expenses in keeping with budget guidelines.
• Maintain appropriate records and prepare necessary reports.
• Supervise Program Managers, Directors and/or Nurse Manager in the residential programs as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services field, plus one year experience working with people with disabilities required.
• Three years of supervisory experience required.
• Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
• Must be available for occasional early morning, evening or weekend functions and share on-call responsibilities.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
