SciTec has an immediate opportunity for a talented business development professional with technical product background and a track record of business growth to serve as a Senior Program Development Manager (PDM) in our Huntsville, Alabama office. At SciTec, "business development" is all about developing and delivering program solutions that support the warfighter's most challenging needs. The PDM reports to the Executive Director of Program Development and is responsible for identifying, tracking, developing, and capturing new business opportunities within assigned Strategic Campaigns. The PDM leads or actively contributes to proposals. The PDM must be able to perform as an individual contributor and lead teams within a tight schedule environment. Responsibilities Identify, capture, and maintain program opportunity pipelines and roadmaps within assigned Strategic Campaigns as part of overall corporate strategyLead assigned opportunities through a gated milestone process, leading to a proposal development effort or a no-bid decisionLead assigned proposal efforts as the Proposal Manager and manage development of proposal content (technical solution, win themes, features/benefits, proof points, graphics, etc.) with the technical team (company and teammates) and proposal compliance content with internal Business Operations organizations (Contracts, Finance, IT, Security, etc.)Develop and track to a proposal schedule, establish and manage the proposal budget baseline, and support other proposal efforts to ensure timely delivery of all required proposal contentDevelop teaming strategies, teaming agreements, and subcontract RFPsDevelop marketing materials and articulate SciTec's capabilities and solutions to customers and industry partners Brief corporate and Portfolio Leadership on the status and progress of new business pipeline and initiativesSupport pre-award activities including addressing customer questions, BAFO, and teammate engagement.Support just-awarded program standup activities to include kickoff meetings, staff hiring, team orientation and collaborative IT environmentsPeriodic business travel may be necessary to meet with customers and industry teammates and to represent SciTec at tradeshows and conferences.Other duties as assigned Requirements Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or computer scienceU.S. Government or aerospace industry experience in business development or technical program management roles of 20+ yearsIndustry experience of 15+ years leading the development of capture plans and technical proposals in support of Department of War or Intelligence CommunityExperience in leading business capture and proposal development efforts, including proposal development process and conducting meetings/reviews. Should include experience leading and winning individual technical proposal efforts in excess of $50M.Possess strong writing skills to articulate and refine our technical and managerial solutions that align with customers' needsAbility to interact and develop positive relationships with customers, teammates, and company senior leadershipPossess strong team building, time-management, and conflict-resolution abilitiesActive DoD SECRET clearance or higher Preferred Experience And Skills Demonstrated experience working with the Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, COCOMs, or the Intelligence CommunityDemonstrated domain expertise in technologies, applications, and operations in one or more of the following mission areas: integrated air and missile defense, national security space systems, battle management command and control, or ISR.Demonstrated track record of business development success with US Government customers in national security arenaDemonstrated experience leading technical teams to develop new capabilities and solutions for US Government customersResumes, Cover Letters, and Applications which are generated by AI will not be considered for employment.
