Core Responsibilities
- Utilizes ERP to develop and communicate production schedule by ensuring schedule is accurately reflected in the ERP system and the cell communication boards.
- Affirms internal and external customer requirements are met in accordance with the Production Schedule.
- Tracks progress of jobs from launch through completion and supports operations with expediting as required.
- Aids production supervision with level loading work center schedules, maintaining throughput objectives and balancing the line.
- Maintains Line-of-Balance tracking for critical programs.
- Tracks performance to monthly forecast including risks and opportunities.
- Liaises between operations and customer service, ensuring customer service has accurate delivery dates and timely notification of delays.
- Analyzes component consumption rates and maintains system parameters & safety stock accordingly.
- Works closely with Purchasing to ensure vendors' delivery date is aligned with the needs of the business.
- Ensures incoming orders, shipments, material transactions, and other logistics activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
- ERP / MRP Experience required, Syteline 9 experience preferred.
- Strong Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with Power BI a plus.
- Ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Balances customer needs while protecting the interests of the company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in a constantly changing environment.
- Adaptability & flexibility are critical in this role.
- Candidate must be able to work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions within the company.
