The Senior Product Owner will shape digital products that improve healthcare experiences through strategic product ownership and Agile delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap priorities
- Create, refine, and manage user stories based on business value and customer needs
- Provide guidance, clarification, and decision-making support to development teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and ensure solutions meet operational and technical requirements
- Manage product delivery timelines, scope, and priorities while balancing competing business needs and resources
- Analyze complex business situations, evaluate potential solutions, and make recommendations that support product success
- Drive continuous improvement by gathering feedback, monitoring outcomes, and identifying opportunities to enhance product performance
- Collaborate across multiple product areas, including healthcare operations, claims, benefits, networks, pricing, and related systems
Requirements include:
- Experience in product ownership, Agile methodologies, and technology-driven business solutions
- Strong ownership of product vision, roadmap execution, and continuous optimization of solutions
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile delivery teams
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and make sound decisions with limited direction
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, operations, systems analysis, or related fields
- Experience managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and prioritizing delivery based on business impact
- Experience in healthcare technology, pharmacy benefits, or enterprise systems is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
