Senior Product Owner

About the role

CGI is seeking a Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead product strategy, backlog management, and business analysis activities supporting mortgage acquisition and secondary market platforms. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring product initiatives align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience
• 5+ years working within mortgage acquisitions, secondary market, or mortgage technology domains
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Agile delivery programs and cloud transformation initiatives
• Deep knowledge of Single Family Acquisitions and Secondary Market mortgage operations
• Strong understanding of mortgage industry data standards including MISMO, ULDD, ULAD (1003), and UCD
• Hands-on experience working in AWS cloud environments, including cloud migration and modernization initiatives
• Ability to facilitate product discovery, feature definition, and stakeholder alignment
• Experience supporting production issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, business, operations, and customer stakeholders
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance considerations within mortgage and financial services environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience developing product documentation, training materials, user guides, and customer-facing communications
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
• AWS Cloud certifications are advantageous
