About the Role

Product Operations is the connective tissue of the product organization. As Senior Product Operations Manager, you will own the operational backbone of the product organization, driving key cross-functional initiatives and building processes, data, and systems that unify Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and other functions. This role involves running cross-functional programs, establishing stakeholder alignment, and ensuring the product organization operates efficiently from roadmap planning through market launch and renewal.

Responsibilities

  • Process design & program management: Design and operationalize cross-functional processes across Product, Sales Operations, User Experience, Product Marketing, and Engineering, including clear ownership models (e.g., RACI). Run complex, multi-stakeholder programs end-to-end, defining scope, sequencing workstreams, managing dependencies, and driving decisions.
  • Executive reporting & business cadences: Own the recurring operating rhythm of the product org, including QBRs, steering committees, executive updates, and planning reviews. Synthesize data into executive-scannable materials and coordinate annual/strategic planning and OKR cycles.
  • Analytics & business insight: Build and maintain metrics defining product and revenue health (ARR, NRR, retention, adoption rates, etc.). Turn ad-hoc business questions into repeatable analyses and steward data quality across the product organization.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Serve as a trusted operational partner to Product, Sales Operations, User Experience, Product Marketing, and Engineering leaders. Stabilize workstreams during transitions and reduce key-person risk through documentation and structure.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in product operations, business operations, strategy & operations, program management, or a comparable analytical/operational role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Track record of owning cross-functional programs end-to-end and driving alignment among senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the product lifecycle, Product Management, and User Experience functions, and their interfaces with other teams.
  • Strong quantitative fluency: comfort building models, analyzing SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, retention, cohort analysis), and reasoning about data quality.
  • Working proficiency with SQL and/or BI tools, and experience querying data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent written communication, able to produce executive-ready materials and distill complexity into clear recommendations.
  • Builder bias: ability to turn recurring work into durable tools, templates, and processes.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and shifting priorities, with an ownership instinct to drive progress.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a similar Product or Business Operations role.
  • Experience administering product/roadmap tools (e.g., Aha!), product analytics (e.g., Amplitude), and issue tracking (e.g., Jira).
  • Hands-on experience adopting or enabling AI tools within a team, including writing enablement documentation.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market motions, pricing/packaging, and SKU or product-catalog structures.
  • Experience supporting or facilitating governance forums (steering committees, planning councils, QBRs).
  • Background in a technical, security, or forensics domain, or another domain with a complex product portfolio.
  • PMP or related Program Management certifications (not required).
