Senior Product Operations Manager
About the Role
Product is core to how we scale care—and how we get better outcomes for patients. As our Senior Product Operations Manager, you'll own how the product actually gets delivered, adopted, and improved in the real world. You'll sit at the center of Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams, turning strategy into execution. This is a high-ownership, high-ambiguity role. You won't just support the system—you'll build it.
What You'll Do
- Drive Product Launch & Rollout: Own end-to-end execution of product launches—from rollout planning to go-live. Build scalable playbooks that ensure features land effectively across clinics.
- Ensure Adoption in the Field: Translate product into practice—design training, materials, and workflows that clinicians actually use. Run live sessions and ensure teams are confident using new tools.
- Build Operational Infrastructure: Create and maintain clear documentation across features, workflows, and systems. Establish the operating rhythms that keep Product, Engineering, and Clinical aligned.
- Be the Execution Engine: Own cross-functional coordination and push work across the finish line. Bring structure to ambiguity—prioritize, unblock, and deliver.
- Close the Feedback Loop: Manage intake and triage of product feedback and support tickets. Turn real-world insights into actionable inputs for Product and Engineering.
- Do What It Takes: We're a startup—no job is too small. You'll step in wherever needed to move the work forward.
What You'll Have
- 5+ years in Product Operations, GTM, or similar execution-heavy roles
- Proven track record of launching products and driving adoption
- Strong systems thinker—you've built processes that scale across teams
- Exceptional communicator—you can translate between engineers, clinicians, and operators
- Experience managing feedback loops, support workflows, or ticket triage
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity—you create clarity where none exists
- High urgency and ownership—you move fast and finish what you start
- Fluency with AI tools to increase speed and leverage
- Deep alignment with our mission to improve mental health care
- Able to work in-person from our San Francisco HQ
What We're Building
- A national care model designed for the highest-acuity patients in behavioral health
- Precision medicine for severe mental illness, using multimodal clinical, behavioral, and social data to personalize treatment
- A clinical operating system that integrates longitudinal data, real-time patient signals, and purpose-built tools into a single decision layer
- New science and measurement frameworks to define what real outcomes look like in SMI
- A health-system partnership model proving coordinated SMI care can work at scale
Why This Role Matters
Every product we ship directly impacts patient care. If we get this right: clinicians work more effectively, patients receive better care, and we scale faster without breaking. You're not just improving a product—you're helping build a system that changes lives.
Compensation & Benefits
Amae Health is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation includes a base salary of $155,000–$175,000 (based on level & experience) plus equity ownership, giving you a meaningful stake in Amae's growth. Total compensation includes comprehensive medical/dental/vision, unlimited PTO, parental leave, and programs built around employee well-being. We'll share specifics during the interview process.
What We Value
- We center care in all we do. Empathy is not a brand value. It's how we make clinical decisions, build products, and treat each other.
- We challenge convention. The existing system is the problem. We question it, we test alternatives, and we move with urgency when something works.
- We take the work seriously, not ourselves. High standards and humanity are not in tension. We hold a hard bar for quality while leaving room for humor and levity.
- Your job isn't done until the job is done. We close gaps, we follow through, and we don't hide behind titles or org charts.
- We win together and fail together. We own outcomes as a team. We learn fast. We don't do blame.
- We hustle with humility. Speed matters. So does integrity. We assume best intent and stay grounded in the mission.
Amae Health is building the care platform, the precision medicine, and the frontier science that severe mental illness has never had. If you want to be part of creating something this hard and this important, something that has never been done, we'd like to talk.
