What You'll Do

  • Operational System Design: Build and refine the operational systems, tools, and AI-enabled workflows that make Guild's Product & Engineering teams more effective at delivering our products.
  • AI Prototyping & Automation: Prototype and test AI and automation solutions, validating their effectiveness before broader rollout to streamline operations and accelerate product development.
  • Workflow Optimization: Audit R&D processes to surface friction and map system dependencies, then implement scalable improvements and establish clear operational standards.
  • Roadmap & Operational Communications: Own clear, consistent communication of roadmap updates, process changes, and operational standards across the product organization — ensuring stakeholders at every level know what's changing, why, and what it means for them.
  • Tool Evaluation & Collaboration: Identify tooling gaps, run vendor conversations, and partner cross-functionally to select the right solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, GTM, and Operations teams so priorities are shared and execution is seamless.
  • Implementation & Impact Measurement: Lead rollout of process improvements, document them well, and measure their impact to validate success and fuel continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years in Product Operations, Engineering Operations, or a similar role. A prior background in either product management or engineering is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate roadmaps, priorities, and process changes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • AI & Workflow Automation: Hands-on skill applying AI tools to prototype or automate workflows.
  • Operational Systems: A track record of building or improving operational systems for technical teams.
  • Tooling Ecosystems: Experience evaluating and implementing tooling ecosystems effectively.
