About the role

The AWS Fintech team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to collaborate with software development teams in developing financial systems for the global AWS business. Success in these systems will significantly enhance AWS' ability to scale its finance capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive product vision and strategy aligned with AWS Finance technology vision

  • Ensure standardization, automation, scalability, and agility in systems and tools

  • Identify business and technical requirements, including customer experience improvements, and prioritize requests for software development teams

  • Coordinate and communicate with relevant business and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Provide analytical support, including prototypes and proofs of concept, for AWS software development teams

  • Manage fintech products throughout the product life cycle

  • Analyze key finance KPIs and business performance metrics, identify gaps, and define measurement frameworks for actionable insights

  • Assess tech design strategies and determine design approaches/tradeoffs in the product development strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience representing and advocating for various critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams

  • Experience with prototyping and implementation

  • Experience with financial systems, KPIs, and business performance metrics

  • Experience managing enterprise-level finance systems and products throughout their lifecycle
