Senior Product Manager - Technical, Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS)

About the role

AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) is looking for a seasoned product manager to help us set the vision and build the future of block storage on AWS. The EBS service delivers high performance virtualized storage "in the cloud" for EC2. Millions of customers, from individual developers to large enterprises, use EBS for durable and performant storage and it is a key building block for any application. As a member of the team you'll work alongside engineers and leaders to develop and operate one of the largest distributed systems in the world. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager, External Services (PMT-ES) to help define new features and solutions for EBS customers.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of several critical customer-facing features
• Gather insights from large enterprise customers to inform feature enhancements
• Meet with engineering leadership to discuss product roadmap and resource allocation
• Collaborate with product marketing and business development on go-to-market strategies
• Analyze user feedback and work on PR/FAQ for key use case expansions
• Prepare for strategy meetings with VP-level leadership on business growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent

Preferred qualifications

• MBA
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
• 2+ years of storage devices experience, or experience related IT
