Key job responsibilities

  • Help accelerate product engineering and business growth of Amazon Aurora DSQL
  • Shape and lead product strategy – turning insights and customer feedback into plans that accelerate delivery and delight customers
  • Take ownership of roadmap prioritization
  • Contribute to feature development by acting as the voice of the customer throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate directly with software engineering teams

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, or other related) experience
  • Experience taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
  • 3+ years of database (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience, or degree in advanced technology

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
  • Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

About the team

A successful candidate will demonstrate proven product management skills with experience delivering features for large scale enterprise information systems. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities and be able to bring clarity and order to ambiguous scenarios. You'll demonstrate subject matter expertise in database technology and be familiar with related storage and server hardware. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills are important, as you'll frequently work with leadership and colleagues that cross organizational boundaries.

Pay

  • Base salary range: $152,200.00 - $205,900.00 USD annually
  • Sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs)
  • Final compensation determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location
