Aquent is partnering with an innovative, established, and remote-first consumer platform to find a talented Product Manager. Responsibilities
- Drive growth initiatives across a consumer-facing journey, optimizing discovery conversion rates and user engagement across web and mobile platforms, with a focus on mobile as the primary channel.
- Own the product roadmap for the mobile app experience, partnering closely with engineering to navigate cross-platform development decisions and ensure consistent, high-quality experiences across mobile operating systems.
- Partner with marketing, insights, and engineering teams to develop and test growth hypotheses using A/B testing and other experimental frameworks.
- Own significant and complex business objectives (OKRs) that drive key growth metrics such as acquisition, engagement, and retention, identifying and recommending success metrics for a strategic 6-month roadmap.
- Communicate user problems, business opportunities, team roadmaps, ongoing updates, and project/OKR results clearly to diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders and non-technical teams.
- Manage important business relationships with leadership, key stakeholders, and third-party partners to achieve long-term company goals.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other product managers, as well as non-technical stakeholders, to plan, develop, and release work across web and mobile platforms.
- Ensure new features incorporate feedback from user-facing teams and work closely with go-to-market teams to align messaging and impact.
- Manage complex roll-outs, including coordinating QA, cross-platform releases (web and mobile apps), and collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Legal and Product Marketing.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a product manager, with at least 8-10 years in product management.
- Demonstrated experience driving growth for consumer-facing digital products, designing and running experiments, and using analytics tools to measure impact.
- Meaningful experience working on mobile products, with a strategic understanding of cross-platform development and trade-offs.
- Experience optimizing experiences across both mobile and web platforms.
- Background in marketplace or e-commerce products, with a focus on understanding user motivations and reducing friction.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence, and motivate stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying user problems, business opportunities, and roadmaps to varied audiences.
- Experience managing ambiguity by shaping user insights into actionable projects.
- Comfort in technical discussions, evaluating product trade-offs in partnership with engineering managers.
- Track record of executing and rolling out products/features that delivered measurable positive impact.
- Substantial experience with the full product development lifecycle, including product validation, lightweight testing, experimentation, and iterative releases.
- Experience managing complex roll-out processes, including QA and cross-platform releases, and coordinating with cross-functional partners.
