Senior Product Manager - Simulation Evaluation Applications
About the role
The Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Product Management organization is responsible for defining and delivering GM’s autonomous driving roadmap—from near-term customer value to long-term eyes-off autonomy at scale. Responsibilities
- Own the long-term product vision, setting strategic direction for simulation evaluation applications across multiple autonomy capabilities, vehicle models and simulation modalities aligning with broader company goals.
- Drive a unified platform roadmap across test management, triggering/execution, and analysis/evaluation—ensuring cohesive end-to-end workflows for internal customers.
- Develop and implement strategies for systems and processes capable of evaluating simulated driving to predict on-road performance as well as evaluate on-road driving.
- Lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders encompassing Embodied AI, Software Validation, Safety, Program, and Product Managers towards highly scalable, reliable and insightful end-to-end evaluation platform.
- Act as the voice of the customers from the multiple internal GM teams across development to validation, ensuring evaluation applications not just meet the needs of the customers but delight them by pushing the envelope on the insights that are possible and their scale.
- Help drive a data-driven culture and establish and monitor key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the Simulation Evaluation products.
Requirements
- 5+ years product management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the modern data and analytics technology stack, including cloud data and data infrastructure.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects forward, even without a clear path.
- Proven ability to balance tradeoffs between user needs and expectations, technical requirements and constraints and business objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing, with the ability to effectively balance and integrate vision, strategy, and technical details in a cohesive narrative.
Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 5+ years product management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related fields.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- An MBA or a master's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- Experience working on evaluation, data and metric products and pipelines.
- Experience managing products focused on ML model development and evaluation.
