Senior Product Manager, Selling Parter Trust
About the role
In this role, you will build trust with Amazon Sellers by launching new products and developing novel ways to measure progress. You will drive innovation, own large products from day one, and make data-driven decisions to impact the customer experience and business growth. This global role involves collaboration with international teams and requires strong communication skills to address the needs of global customers. Your decisions will shape the viability and attractiveness of Amazon’s offerings for Sellers, driving selection, revenue, and business growth.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech to simplify the experience for selling partners worldwide. You will strategically scale systems and tooling across selling partner cohorts, simplify account health and compliance management, and own the development of core capabilities. This includes prioritizing features, preparing launch and go-to-market strategies, and ensuring high-quality execution.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product strategy and vision grounded in customer needs, internal insights, and external analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve the Selling Partner experience and translate them into products and features with clear business impact.
- Own the product roadmap from concept to launch—prioritize ruthlessly for ROI, manage scope, and deliver a consistent cadence of high-quality releases.
- Write clear, comprehensive requirements documents and partner with engineering to influence technical design, make tradeoffs, and unblock delivery.
- Work directly with internal customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and existing solutions.
- Drive execution by establishing clear ownership, project commitments, and reporting mechanisms to keep teams accountable.
- Build and own cross-org mechanisms (QBRs, roadmap reviews, goal alignment) to drive visibility and coordinated execution across teams.
- Communicate and evangelize product innovations to stakeholders and the broader selling community.
- Query and analyze data to surface insights that inform strategy, prioritization, and business decisions at scale.
A day in the life:
- Own the product roadmap, deciding what gets built now, later, or not at all.
- Build products that anticipate future needs, not just patching today’s problems.
- Balance customer wants, business needs, and technical realities to make tradeoffs.
- Identify and fix bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Ship high-quality products on time, then drive adoption by simplifying onboarding and removing barriers.
- Dive deep into data, write clear documents for senior leaders, and guide cross-functional teams through influence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery and feature tradeoffs.
- Experience as a product manager or owner, specifically with technology products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and with senior stakeholders.
