Senior Product Manager – Restaurant Point of Sale

About the role

National Retail Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our restaurant point of sale system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, experience in the hospitality industry, and a passion for improving customer experiences through technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product roadmap for the restaurant POS system, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and sales.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
• Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality, user-friendly products are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to gather feedback and drive product improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on software products.
• Proven track record of successfully leading product initiatives from concept to launch.
• Experience in the hospitality or food service industry preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business impact.

Qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes.
• Knowledge of POS systems and their functionalities.
• Understanding of user experience principles and usability testing.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
