About the role

The Senior Product Manager combines user experience, business acumen in healthcare operations, and technological expertise to create and deliver innovative products and business intelligence solutions for complex problems using healthcare data. This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with continuous demands to provide value-driven analytics that enable data-driven decisions across cost and quality. The role oversees a portfolio of analytics ranging from ambulatory quality, risk-based contract analytics, total cost of care management, population health management, to service line & specialty analytics.

This role requires strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills, along with an advanced technical understanding of best practices in product development within an agile framework, data collection, client-facing reporting, and both standard and emerging analytic tools and technologies. The Senior Product Manager collaborates closely with various business departments within and outside the Providence Analytics Center of Excellence (ACOE) and serves as the primary liaison with business partners and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of business strategies for the product.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative products and business intelligence solutions using healthcare data.
  • Provide value-driven analytics to support data-driven decision-making across cost and quality.
  • Manage a portfolio of analytics including ambulatory quality, risk-based contract analytics, total cost of care management, population health management, and service line & specialty analytics.
  • Collaborate with business departments within and outside the Providence Analytics Center of Excellence (ACOE).
  • Serve as the primary liaison with business partners and stakeholders to align business strategies for the product.
  • Apply best practices in product development within an agile framework.
  • Utilize and stay current with standard and emerging analytic tools and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in management-level experience (project, program, product, and/or people) with a focus on data management, analytics, product design, customer engagement, data science, platform development, or related management experience.
  • 5 years of familiarity with analytics tools, platforms, and languages: SQL, ADO, Tableau, Power BI, or other similar tools.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent education/experience (preferred).
  • 5 years of experience working with healthcare data and healthcare operations (preferred).
  • Knowledge of industry frameworks in applicable domain (preferred).

  • AK: Anchorage: $56.40 - $89.04 per hour
  • AK: Kodiak, Seward, Valdez: $58.79 - $92.82 per hour
  • California: Humboldt: $57.64 - $92.79 per hour
  • California: All Northern California (except Humboldt): $65.96 - $104.13 per hour
  • California: All Southern California (except Bakersfield): $58.79 - $92.82 per hour
  • California: Bakersfield: $56.40 - $89.04 per hour
  • Montana (except Great Falls): $45.41 - $71.69 per hour
  • Montana: Great Falls: $43.02 - $67.91 per hour
  • New Mexico: $45.41 - $71.69 per hour
  • Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: $52.58 - $83.01 per hour
  • Oregon: Portland Service Area: $56.40 - $89.04 per hour
  • Texas: $43.02 - $67.91 per hour
  • Washington: Western (except Tukwila): $58.79 - $92.82 per hour
  • Washington: Southwest (Olympia, Centralia & Below): $56.40 - $89.04 per hour
  • Washington: Eastern: $50.19 - $79.23 per hour
  • Washington: South Eastern: $52.58 - $83.01 per hour

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
