Senior Product Manager, Relay Supply Product & Tech

About the role

The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for defining the roadmap for delivering automated procurement of capacity – orchestrating across multiple channels, supply types, demand profiles and region – to minimize transportation cost and improve speed. The role will build out an agency orchestration forward product suite that can reason across diverse procurement choices and act or advise multiple downstream systems to take actions that overall mitigate cost, speed and risk of conversion.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams in operations, technology and planning to define strategic roadmaps while keeping the impact of the solution to all stakeholders in mind.
• End-to-end ownership of requirements gathering documentation, planning, and implementation of cost-effective solutions for Amazon transportation network.
• Own complete 0-1 product development and roadmap ownership, own product design and delivery through dedicated tech team.
• Designing and implementing feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes.
• Ability to deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future.
• Monitor product metrics across nodes and analyze their drivers to determine the level and type of engagement required based on the risk to customer experience and utilization of technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience as a product manager or owner
• Experience owning technology products

Qualifications

• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
• Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Skills

• Strong understanding underlying system architecture
• Varying optimization functions
