The Microsoft Security organization accelerates Microsoft’s mission to secure digital technology platforms, devices, and clouds in customers’ heterogeneous environments, as well as ensuring the security of our own internal estate. We are looking for Product Managers passionate about building customer-centric security products and experiences who will define product vision and strategy, collaborate closely with engineering and design teams, engage directly with customers, and deliver solutions that solve complex security and identity challenges at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for security and identity-related products and services.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, research, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative customer-facing solutions.
- Engage customers and partners to understand needs, validate scenarios, gather feedback, and inform product decisions.
- Translate customer, market, and business opportunities into clear product requirements and execution plans.
- Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
- Prioritize investments and features based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic goals.
- Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and communicate results and impact to leadership.
- Support go-to-market efforts by partnering with marketing, sales, and business teams to drive adoption and customer success.
- Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges across security, identity, governance, compliance, access management, and related technology domains.
- Foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check: this position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years of experience in product management, program management, software development, or a related technical field OR equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering customer-facing products in partnership with engineering teams.
- Strong product strategy, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience translating customer needs into product decisions and execution.
- Knowledge of identity, security, governance, compliance, cloud security, or Microsoft Security/Entra technologies.
- End-to-end UX experience.
- AI-native PM experience.
Pay
Product Management IC3 — Typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD $102,100 – $202,200 per year. Different ranges apply to specific work locations; in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area the base pay range is USD $133,800 – $219,200 per year.
Product Management IC4 — Typical base pay range across the U.S. is USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year. Different ranges apply to specific work locations; in the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area the base pay range is USD $160,200 – $261,000 per year.
