Job Titile: Senior Product Manager – Document Intelligence Platform Location: Coppell, TX 75019 — Remote Time Zone Requirement: Candidates must be based in the Central or Eastern Time Zones Contract: 4–6 months, with potential for full-time conversion Experience: 7+ years Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Industry: Accounting / Financial Technology Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Product Manager – Document Intelligence Platform to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of innovative document processing and data ingestion capabilities supporting both B2B and B2C tax experiences. This role will own the product lifecycle from vision and roadmap development through execution, launch, and optimization. The ideal candidate has strong experience with AI-driven document intelligence platforms, including document classification, OCR, data extraction, ingestion, and integration with downstream systems. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, UX/UI, AI/ML, data, compliance, and business teams to deliver secure, accurate, scalable, and intelligent document workflows. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for the Document Intelligence Platform. Lead development of AI-powered document ingestion, classification, extraction, and data processing capabilities. Identify opportunities to reduce manual data entry and improve document-processing accuracy and efficiency. Partner with engineering, design, AI/ML, data, compliance, and business teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Translate customer and business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs. Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and agile delivery activities. Drive rapid experimentation and iterative product delivery, with the ability to produce meaningful product increments on a weekly basis. Use customer feedback, analytics, research, and market trends to continuously improve product capabilities. Evaluate emerging AI, LLM, OCR, document intelligence, and data exchange technologies. Ensure AI-powered capabilities are appropriately validated and integrated into customer workflows. Balance innovation, scalability, reliability, security, compliance, and business objectives. Partner with legal, privacy, regulatory, and compliance teams to support responsible AI and secure data handling. Communicate product strategy, priorities, progress, and business impact to executives and cross-functional stakeholders. Serve as a product thought leader for intelligent document processing and AI-enabled tax data ingestion. Required Qualifications 7+ years of product management experience, preferably within software, fintech, tax, accounting, financial services, or related technology environments. Strong hands-on product experience with AI-driven document ingestion and extraction platforms. Experience with document classification, OCR, data extraction, document processing, and downstream system integrations. Strong understanding of AI/ML and LLM-based technologies, including their capabilities, limitations, validation requirements, and practical implementation. Regular hands-on use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms. Ability to clearly explain how AI tools are incorporated into different phases of the product management lifecycle. Proven experience working directly with software engineers and product designers. Strong experience with user stories, product requirements, backlog management, sprint cadence, and agile methodologies. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver tangible product improvements quickly. Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience building products for tax, accounting, fintech, financial services, or payments. Experience with B2B and B2C platforms. Experience with intelligent document processing, financial document automation, OCR, OFX, or similar data ingestion technologies. Experience applying AI agents or LLMs to customer-facing product workflows. Familiarity with responsible AI, data privacy, regulatory, and compliance considerations. Experience with design thinking and customer-centric product development. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on, AI-fluent Senior Product Manager who has directly worked on document intelligence or AI-powered data extraction products. They should be comfortable partnering with engineers and designers, rapidly testing ideas, using modern AI tools in their daily workflow, and translating complex technical capabilities into simple customer experiences. Candidates should demonstrate a strong delivery mindset, with the ability to move from product discovery and experimentation to production releases quickly while maintaining accuracy, security, compliance, and customer trust.
