Senior Product Manager – Payroll

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager - Payroll to join our Business Technology division in Seattle, WA.

  • Manage the product life cycle, including gathering product requirements, developing business cases, and working closely with developers, IT, software engineering, and software vendors.
  • Maintain knowledge of Payroll and Timekeeping existing technology solution set and future needs, industry trends, and competitive threats.
  • Lead the development and adoption of Payroll/Timekeeping existing technology solutions and future needs.
  • Define enhancements and features with stakeholders.
  • Manage product life cycle (including modifications, upgrades and maintenance) through end of life.
  • Develop and maintain business cases.
  • Produce well written documentation including Product Requirement Documents (PRD), user acceptance test plans and training material.
  • Partner with IT, consultants, and software vendors to specify, deliver, and maintain solutions and integrations.
  • Lead coordination and documentation of project activities including product introduction meetings, design review meetings, and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with Technology Partners to successfully deliver projects including user stories, functional specifications and testing.
  • Manage and follow-up on client requests.
  • Deliver accurate, high quality and timely results in product administrative support.
  • Serve as a steward of McKinstry technology solutions.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 6-10 years’ experience in System Administration, Configuration, Implementation, and support experience required.
  • Experience supporting UKG Pro Payroll and Unions required.
  • Ability to successfully communicate with developers, stakeholders and end users to align on and deliver product enhancements required.
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint required.
  • Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and interest in technology solutions to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies a plus.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and DevOps a plus.
  • Experience managing bug triage, issue resolution, change and risk management desired.
  • Previous experience in the A/E/C industry desired.
