Senior Product Manager (Mortgage Servicing)

About the role
The SVP, Product Manager translates complex business needs into detailed technical requirements, understands system architecture, data flows, and integration points, and acts as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams. This role defines what we build and why, ensuring our technical products are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives and customer experiences. The SVP, Product Manager will guide, mentor, and empower a team of Product Owners to achieve their product goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, coach, and mentor a team of Product Owners, fostering their professional growth, setting clear performance expectations, and cultivating a collaborative, high-performing product culture.
- Define, articulate, and champion a clear, overarching vision and strategy for your collective technical product domain, ensuring alignment with company goals. Guide Product Owners in developing individual product strategies and roadmaps that contribute to this vision.
- Oversee the development and aggregation of roadmaps across teams. Drive strategic prioritization at a group level, managing dependencies and making complex trade-off decisions that impact multiple product areas.
- Provide expert technical guidance to Product Owners and act as an escalation point for complex technical product decisions. Ensure deep understanding of underlying systems, data, and architecture informs requirements.
- Represent your teams' work and strategy, translating complex technical concepts effectively. Ensure seamless collaboration between Product Owners, engineering teams, and other dependent groups.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle across your teams' products, ensuring best practices are followed from ideation through launch and iteration, with a focus on technical execution, quality, and consistency.
- Engage with and influence senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization. Effectively communicate the collective vision, progress, risks, and strategic direction of your product portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, business systems analysis, or technical program management, with significant focus on highly technical products (e.g., platforms, APIs, infrastructure, complex backend systems).
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) directly managing, coaching, and developing a team of Product Managers or Product Owners.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and standardize the elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation of complex technical requirements across multiple teams in mortgage servicing.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, system architecture, databases, API design, cloud technologies, and integration patterns. Ability to guide technical discussions and decisions.

Pay
Salary range: $140,000 - $175,000. Individual salary may vary based on role, geographic location, market data, skills, and experience. Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives.
