About the role

The Senior Product Manager for Inventory Integrations is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, spearheading initiatives for our Inventory ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Innovation: Foster creativity across functions and domains, encouraging experimentation and forward-thinking solutions.
  • Plan Strategically: Orchestrate comprehensive product planning sessions, driving alignment across dependencies and domains.
  • Evangelize Your Vision: Advocate for your product, influencing strategic roadmap decisions both within your domain and across organizational levels.
  • Collaborate Seamlessly: Partner with business and technology teams to deliver impactful product solutions while providing responsive support.
  • Leverage Customer Insights: Conduct research, synthesize findings, and develop a deep understanding of opportunities, incorporating market trends and competitor analysis into product roadmaps.
  • Embrace AI & Automation: Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to inventory integration workflows — including building and scaling AI agents, anomaly detection in data flows, predictive data quality validation, and intelligent exception routing.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in product management, technology, or eCommerce (retail systems integration experience preferred).
  • Technical & Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of ERP system design, data architecture, and stock ledger management within retail operations, including the transition from on-premises to modern, cloud-based SaaS solutions.
  • Experience with system integrations, data flows, data transformation, and validation requirements supporting inventory management, financial reconciliation, and operational efficiency is highly valued.
  • Strategic Vision & Ambiguity: Ability to set a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap, and to thrive in ambiguity where requirements, ownership, and scope are still forming.
  • Execution: Proven ability to lead discoveries and delivery across multiple engineering teams in parallel, drive to an aligned MVP, and manage a prioritized backlog.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across engineering, finance, and inventory ops — up to executive leadership.
