Senior Product Manager, Identity & Access Management (10390) Extreme Networks San Jose Remote Fulltime Product Management Position: Senior Product Manager, Identity & Access Management Location: San Jose, CA | Salem, NH | Raleigh, NC Reports To: VP of Product Management Type: Full-time Application: Rolling basis Role Overview: Join Extreme Networks as a Senior Product Manager to lead Identity & Access Management (IAM) as a platform service. This role is pivotal in defining the architecture, governance model, and roadmap for identity across Extreme Platform ONE, supporting both human operators and autonomous agents in a hybrid operational model. Key Responsibilities: 1. Platform Identity Architecture & Governance: - Develop enterprise identity strategy for human and agent operations. - Establish architectural standards and governance rules. - Maintain the Identity & Access governance framework. 2. Agent-Enabled Identity Model: - Design identity models for autonomous agent tasks. - Define task boundaries and escalation mechanisms. - Collaborate with AI leadership for safe agent operations. 3. Enterprise Identity Capabilities & Roadmap: - Own the product roadmap for identity capabilities. - Define SLAs for identity services. - Translate customer needs into prioritized capabilities. 4. Product Execution: - Write product requirements and user stories. - Collaborate on architectural solutions. - Manage product lifecycle from validation to measurement. 5. Customer Success & Enterprise Positioning: - Understand customer needs for agent delegation. Overview Job Description Extreme Networks is a global leader in cloud-driven networking solutions, focusing on autonomous cloud networking platforms for enterprises.The role is for a Senior Product Manager, Identity & Access Management (IAM) at Extreme Networks, based in San Jose, CA; Salem, NH; or Raleigh, NC.The position reports to the VP of Product Management and is full-time. Key Responsibilities Platform Identity Architecture & GovernanceOwn the enterprise identity strategy for Extreme Platform ONE.Define architectural standards and governance rules for identity changes.Create and maintain the Identity & Access governance framework. Agent-Enabled Identity ModelDesign the identity model for autonomous agent tasks within strict boundaries.Define tasks for autonomous execution and those requiring human oversight.Design escalation mechanisms for agents. Enterprise Identity Capabilities & RoadmapOwn the product roadmap for identity capabilities.Define SLAs for identity services.Translate customer requirements into prioritized capabilities. Product ExecutionWrite product requirements and user stories for identity capabilities.Collaborate with engineering for solutions requiring architectural understanding.Partner on rollout and adoption strategies. Customer Success & Enterprise PositioningUnderstand customer needs for agent delegation and human judgment.Build trust through transparency and control. Cross-Functional OrchestrationCoordinate identity roadmap dependencies across teams.Ensure identity governance enforces task execution boundaries. Requirements/Skills/Qualifications Must-Have7+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise SaaS, networking, security, or platform infrastructure.Deep IAM/Identity expertise (OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, etc.).Platform product management experience.Architectural thinking and understanding of distributed systems.Knowledge of agentic systems and autonomous agents.Enterprise customer fluency and understanding of compliance needs.Security/compliance experience with IAM platforms and frameworks.Experience with SaaS scale products.
