About the role
The Hyperforce team is seeking a Product Manager with a strong builder mindset. The role requires technical proficiency and passion for platform & infrastructure-as-a-service, developer experience, and applying AI for solving hard platform problems such as resource optimization, scaling, and availability. You will focus on building new technologies that scale compute infrastructure while running it in a cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Own and innovate strategic platform capabilities such as resource optimization by leveraging knowledge of Infrastructure/platform-as-a-service and open-source technologies.
- Apply AI to understand user pain points, investigate product maturity gaps (e.g., scaling and availability), build product concepts, and drive product operations.
- Engage with customers and partners to build a product capability roadmap, gather feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.
- Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites.
- Develop rich user experiences, define KPIs for measuring user journeys, and build platform automation for self-service.
- Build product prototypes, write strategy documents, and translate customer needs into product capabilities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management, Solution Architect, or similar experience.
- Technical depth in user-facing products, infrastructure/platform-as-a-service (IaaS/PaaS), containers/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability.
- Proficiency and growth mindset toward leveraging AI (e.g., Claude Code) and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL).
- Product management experience in developing rich user experiences, KPIs for measuring user journeys, and building platform automation for self-service.
- Demonstrated experience in building product prototypes, writing strategy, and translating customer needs into product capabilities.
- A technical degree, preferably in Software Engineering.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in resource optimization techniques such as leveraging Karpenter and Kueue.
- Direct experience working with and leveraging AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure services.

Pay
The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, the base salary range is $207,800 - $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, as applicable.
