Senior Product Manager, Clinical Platform
At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can’t get to a doctor’s office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system—driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year. By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we’ve supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed 130,000+ in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators have raised over $125M to date from investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel and enjoy multi-year runway.
About The Role
We're building the AI and clinical services stack to make preventive, connected healthcare accessible for everyone in the US. We deliver hybrid care (in-home + virtual) powered by an AI platform that unlocks broad-reaching care across 25+ states, serving 70%+ of the US population with an always-on, margin-efficient model. This core care delivery foundation has opened the door to major enterprise AI offerings. All major health plans in the country are proud customers. With 2M+ patients and a 90+ NPS, we're rapidly scaling our impact.
Our team of engineers, AI scientists, clinicians, and operators is backed by investors including a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel, who have supported companies like Devoted Health, Abridge, Livongo, Benchling, Stripe, Ramp, Airbnb, Cursor, Instagram, and Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Define how care composes at a platform level: what a service requires, what it produces, and how services combine across licensure, modality, and supply source. This determines whether our tenth care pathway takes a month of engineering or an afternoon of configuration.
- Make the patient record trustworthy: own the validated record and patient identity—what we know about a patient and whether we can trust it. Define the schema, validation rules, and every integration that writes into it, including healthcare-specific standards like FHIR and LOINC.
- Build the authoring surface for non-engineers and AI agents: enable clinical strategy to compose new pathways, partnerships to configure new partners, and AI agents to create bespoke patient pathways—all without engineering tickets.
- Own our extended networks platform: serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for bringing external clinical partners on-platform to expand our reach in geography and service mix while maintaining impact, quality, and patient experience.
- Set clinical platform vision, strategy, and roadmap: own the canonical layer, including the validated patient record, service catalog, composition grammar, and authoring surface for both human and AI users.
- Publish and version contracts as a product: manage interfaces that multiple internal and external teams depend on, including migrations and deprecations without stalling their roadmaps.
- Engage broadly with stakeholders: partner with clinical strategy, partnerships, AI research teams, external clinical partners, and executive sponsors at health plan customers.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience, including at least two owning platform, infrastructure, or API products that other engineering teams built on.
- Experience turning hard-coded behavior into data-driven, configurable systems. You can articulate what you parameterized, what you deliberately refused to, and what broke when a config was wrong.
- Proven ability in modeling and contract judgment: designed core entities and their lifecycles, shipped versioned interfaces, and deprecated dependencies without breaking other teams.
- Platform experience in high-stakes environments where misconfigurations had real, auditable consequences (e.g., money movement, safety, compliance, access control). Relevant domains include payments, fintech infrastructure, identity, security, logistics, and multi-tenant marketplaces.
- Comfort with strategic ownership (multi-year vision + roadmap) and the compounding work of refining abstractions. Ability to say "no" when multiple teams request conflicting changes.
- Culture carrier: sets ambitious vision, prioritizes effectively, and drives impact with a patient-centered true north. Thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts to needs outside formal role descriptions.
