Responsibilities
- Drive the roadmap for Thyme Box, focusing on core care team surfaces such as work prioritization, tasking, communications, and documentation.
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement improvements that enhance productivity and care team performance.
- Translate clinical and operational processes into actionable product requirements, ensuring they align with the needs of the care team.
- Develop and maintain AI-powered capabilities that support processes, automate documentation, and provide decision support, all while maintaining clinical safety and quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, service design, clinical leadership, and other teams to ensure workflows are effective and sustainable.
- Manage competing priorities and make transparent, defensible decisions about what to build, when, and how.
- Ensure the platform is reliable and stable, conducting bug triage and release coordination.
- Leverage AI to accelerate product development and refine the discovery, specifications, analysis, and prototyping process.
Requirements
- Significant experience owning complex, workflow-heavy software used by real operators in healthcare settings.
- Track record of improving efficiency and workflow in healthcare settings, leading to measurable outcomes.
- Ability to translate ambiguous processes into clear product requirements.
- Comfortable managing a high volume of requests and stakeholders, with a clear prioritization framework.
- Experience with AI and LLMs, understanding their potential to transform care delivery and safety.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of product management experience, with healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience in oncology, serious illness/palliative care, or chronic condition management is a plus.
- Experience in AI/LLM-powered product features, including safety guardrails and quality measurement.
Skills
- Operator empathy: understanding the daily challenges faced by the care team and designing solutions that address these challenges.
- AI exuberance grounded in craft: enthusiasm for AI’s potential in healthcare, coupled with a deep understanding of its practical applications.
- Ruthless prioritization: the ability to handle high demand and make tough decisions to focus on the highest-leverage work.
- Strategic and operational range: the capability to think both strategically and operationally, balancing long-term visions with immediate issues.
- Systems thinking: considering Thyme Box as a whole system, not just a collection of features, and addressing technical debt and consistency.
- Cross-functional glue: bridging gaps between different teams and ensuring that changes have a positive impact on the ground.
- Humility and directness: listening first and then driving decisions when necessary, ensuring transparency and trust within the team.
